To make easier for iPhones and Android phones to access basic information from our web site on the go, we’ve created a smart-phone friendly version of our website boaa.com/mobile.  (Blackberry, Windows Mobile and other smart phones are not supported at this time.) This stripped down version of our website features branch and ATM locations with quick links to maps, branch phone numbers (click and it dials) and access to our full web site.  This mobile version of our website loads quickly and is easy to navigate when you’re all thumbs.  Please note: This is not mobile banking. This is simply a version of our website that’s formatted to work well on iPhones and Android smart phones.
 
Looking for mobile banking?
We do have mobile banking and it’s free.  It is accessed via a one-time password that is sent as a link in a text message. To sign up for mobile banking, log into Online Banking, select Options and Edit in the Mobile Banking section. Look for a full app version of mobile banking to arrive later this year.

You spoke, we listened.  After we launched the fresh new look to our web site earlier this year, you asked if we could make the text larger so it could be read more easily, especially on monitors set to a high resolution. Our team worked on the issue and developed a solution that provides a choice.  In the top right corner of each page are three sizes of the letter A.  As you click on an A, the size of the type of the whole web site changes.  Pick the size that is best for you to read and you're set.  The site will remember your selection (a cookie is placed on your computer indicating your choice) and serve up the pages with your larger (or smaller) type size.

One note: online banking and bill pay pages are not affected by the type size options and do not change.

The Michigan Bankers Association (MBA) awarded Bank of Ann Arbor an MBA Bank Marketing Award in the electronic digital category, which is given to a bank for its innovative Web site, banner ads and social media sites. Criteria for the award were based on originality of concept or design and clarity and consistency of message.

They received their award at the MBA Bankers Education Summit and Trade Show Conference (BEST) held April 20 – 21, 2010, in Traverse City.
